New Delhi (Auto Desk) Honda Cars India has launched an updated model of its Honda Jazz in the Indian market. The third-generation Honda Jazz was launched by the company in mid-2015 and the first update is now available after three years. Honda has closed the base specification E variant of Jazz. The base variant in diesel is only S. At the same time there is only V and VX in the petrol model. Apart from this, Honda has closed the Jazz Classic Magic seats too. Updated features of the car include some new features, including push-button start / stop, new car with 7-inch infotainment system and Apple Auto and Cruise Control feature. Speaking of safety, the company will keep the EBD standard with the old ones dual front airbags, ABS. Apart from this, now speed-sensing auto door lock and rear parking sensor will also be the standard equipment.
The new Front Center Armrest has been given in the 2018 Honda Jazz, which is also in WR-V. Apart from this it has updated LED Tail Lamps. Honda has replaced Amazon with Radiant Red and Lunar Silver Color in 2018 jazz as two new exterior color options. The company has now shut down the Cornellian Red and Elabaster Silver Colors.
No changes have been made in mechanical jazz The company has given a 1.2 liter i-VTEC petrol (90PS / 110Nm) 1.5 liters i-DTEC diesel engine (100PS / 200Nm). Petrol engine is equipped with 5-speed manual and 7-step CVT. The diesel engine is equipped with 6-speed manual transmission.
The Honda Jazz competition in the premium hatchback segment is Maruti Suzuki Baleno (Price ranging from 5.35 to 8.49 lakh), Volkswagen Polo (Price 5.53 lakh to 9.33 lakh) and Hyundai Elite i20 (Kimm 5.4 lakh to 9.21 lakh). All prices are ex showroom Delhi.
