After the notes of 2000, 500, 200, 50, 10, the Reserve Bank of India has issued the first look of Rs. 100 note. The new note will be a color bag, and it will be seen in the glow of the historic queen of Gujarat which is included in the global heritage. Old notes will also be in circulation after the new notes of 100 rupees are available in the market. RBI has said in the information given on its Twitter handle that a new note of Rs 100 will be released soon.

This new note will be signed by Governor Urjit Patel of Reserve Bank of India. Behind this new 100 rupee note will be a picture of 'Rani Ki Vava', located in Patan district of Gujarat, which is the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Other designs on both front and back of the note are geometric patterns that have been aligned with the overall color scheme. The size of the note will be 66 mm x 142 mm.
