New Delhi: Prior to the assembly elections, the Madhya Pradesh government has given good news for its employees. Now employees will receive 2 percent and 6 percent pay scales on the seventh pay scale from January 1, 2018 to 3 percent dearness allowance.
Increased DAs will benefit employees from Rs. 350 to Rs. 1200 per month and employees from Rs. 1600 to Rs. 2,900 per month. Explain that the employees will be paid lump sum from 1 January to 30 April 2018, that is, the extended Arrears of four months.
It is known that employees, pensioners, teachers, Panchayat secretaries, such number of cadres together, more than 10 lakh. At the moment, after the decision of the Cabinet, the proposal will be forwarded to the Chhattisgarh government for approval, from where the permission will be received, it will be benefitted in the next month ie May pay-to-June salary.
It is worth noting that for joining two percent DA, between Rs. 16100 and Rs. 28700, the payers would get between Rs 350 and Rs 570. Those receiving pay scales from Rs 32800 to Rs 67300 will get Rs 700 to 1200 and those who get Rs 79900 to Rs 14,1800 will get Rs 800 to 2900 rupees.
At present, a large number of cadres are getting the sixth pay scale, 1.75 lakh teachers, 25 thousand Panchayat secretary and 4 lakh 60 thousand pensioners retired before January 1, 2016. They are getting 139 percent DA. After three percent DA increase, it will be 142 percent.
