new Delhi. Congress leader Shashi Tharoor has once again given the controversial statement. Actually addressing a program in Thiruvananthapuram, Tharoor said that if the Bharatiya Janata Party wins in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, it will create conditions like becoming 'Hindu Pakistan'.

Tharoor further said that the BJP will write a new constitution which will clear the path of turning India into a country like Pakistan where the rights of minorities will not be respected.
Tharoor said, "If they (BJP) win the Lok Sabha elections again, our democratic constitution will be over because they have all the elements to blow the Indian constitution and write a new constitution."
Tharoor said, "His new constitution will be based on the principles of Hindu nation which will eliminate the rights of equality of minorities and make the country a Hindu Pakistan. Great fighters of Mahatma Gandhi, Nehru, Sardar Patel, Maulana Azad and freedom struggle did not fight for such a country.

Tharoor's statement has been reversed by the BJP. The BJP has demanded apology from Congress President Rahul Gandhi for this. In an interview with ANI, BJP spokesman Patna said, "Whatever Rahul has said, Shashi should apologize to Rahul Gandhi. Congress was responsible for the creation of Pakistan and once again it is working to demean India and defame the Hindus of the country.
The concerned Patna also fiercely criticized Twitter. The concerned Patra said that Congress does not allow a single opportunity to defame Hindus of India and India.
